Iconion makes it quite easy to generate icons for a variety of purposes. You need only select an icon, pick a style, and then save your work. In just a few simple steps you will have an icon for your website, personal blog, software product, and so on.

Iconion is available for Microsoft’s Windows operating system and for Apple’s Mac OS X.
Focusing on Microsoft’s Windows operating system, it must be said that a setup wizard will guide you through the installation process. Thanks to this setup wizard you will very quickly get Iconion up and running on your PC.

Iconion’s interface is divided into three panels. The one to the left presents lots and lots of icons. The one to the right presents multiple styles and some icon and background customization options. The one in the middle displays a preview of the icon you’re working on.

Iconion’s interface is divided into three panels – and using the application is a simple 3-step process:
Step 1 – select an icon from the panel to the left.
Step 2 – use the panel to the right to customize the icon you selected.
Step 3 – preview and save your work as PNG, JPG or BMP.

Please note that some styles are not available in the free version. To gain access to all the styles, you must purchase an Iconion license.

In just three simple steps – select icon, add style, preview & save – you can create a very nice icon.

Pros

Iconion is available for multiple platforms: Windows and Mac OS X. There is nothing complicated about installing Iconion on a Windows PC. Iconion’s interface is divided into three panels; it is a very user friendly interface. Using Iconion is a very simple 3-step process. Save your work as PNG, JPG, BMP.

Cons

The free edition doesn’t allow you to access all the styles.
